Cotton Stitchers!

.
Our Cotton Stitcher's Club had a great time Saturday (July 21). We shared many ideas to help us with our next family reunion or camping trip.

Play checkers while eating on your checkerboard picnic blanket or snuggle in a warm rag quilt (kits available).

We shared a quilt pattern by Lori Holt: Family Reunion. A suggestion given was have each family help make the different blocks. When it is a completed quilt, auction it off as a fund raiser for the next reunion.

Family patches might be a perfect new tradition for your family.  Each year make a new patch to represent that family reunion.

My family goes to Bear Lake each year.  Can't be in Garden City without a raspberry milkshake! And it wouldn't be a Rager family reunion without a game of "Mormon Bridge".This patch should help us remember the great days at Bear Lake.

Pillows, chairs, bracelets, headbands, and water bottle straps, just to name a few, projects that may keep the family members creativity alive. Some folks even took advantage of our 'make n take' time where they were able to see how easy a headband will be to make at their next family reunion.

We have a great time at Cotton Stitchers! What is Cotton Stitchers? It is our free sewing club for everyone! Third Saturday of every month;  10:00 in our classroom; projects, ideas, demos, and refreshments. Hope to see you next month! Come and see what we have in store for you on August 18th.
